JACKSONVILLE – State Representative C.D. Davidsmeyer (R-Murrayville) released the following statement concerning the guilty verdict of Tim Mapes of perjury and attempted obstruction of justice in the on-going federal investigation into bribery and corruption in Illinois:
“The guilty verdict against Madigan’s Chief of Staff, Tim Mapes, comes as no surprise. It’s past time that the Democrat majority pass true ethics reform to get rid of their culture of corruption.”
