Thursday evening State Rep. C.D. Davidsmeyer participated as a “Celebrity Bartender” at the Brickhouse Barbeque in Jacksonville to support the Boys & Girls Club of Central Illinois. Thank you to all who came out to support the good work of this organization!
Today, the Boys and Girls Club operates in 22 locations, including their Central Unit, as well as 21 elementary and middle schools throughout Sangamon and Morgan counties. Each day, they serve roughly 1,000+ youth, providing character building activities, academic programs, and healthy activities. All of our programming is geared towards delivering measurable outcomes that help our members become responsible citizens in our community, live healthy lifestyles, and reach their full potential.
