On Wednesday, March 6 the IL House Human Services Committee will take up two different pieces of legislation that expand abortion in Illinois.
House Bill 2467 repeals the Parental Notice of Abortion Act. The Act currently requires parent or guardian notification if a minor intends to have an abortion.
House Bill 2495 makes abortion a fundamental right in Illinois. It will allow elective abortions up to nine months of pregnancy.
I am pro-life and oppose these two pieces of legislation.
You too can oppose these bills by filling out an online opposition witness slip with the House Clerk. Doing so is very easy and will allow your voice to be heard.
