EPA Hosts Hazardous Waste Collection in Jacksonville

State Rep. CD Davidsmeyer (R-Jacksonville) wants you to know that the IL Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), in coordination with Morgan County and Jacksonville ESDA, will be in town to collect old chemical cleaners, oil-based paint and motor oil on May 20, at the Morgan County Fairgrounds, 110 N Westgate Ave., Jacksonville from 8am to 3pm.

“It’s time to clean out those basements, garages and sheds of old oil, paint and chemicals,” said Davidsmeyer. “I know that many times we get busy and forget about those left over chemicals we may have bought for a project. This is a great opportunity to safely get rid of those items.”
