Rep. C.D. Davidsmeyer, R-Jacksonville, views the maneuver of Madigan, daughter of Democratic House Speaker Mike Madigan, as purely political.
“I thought we were past that. I thought we already figured that out. I didn’t think she would actually pursue it,” Davidsmeyer said. “I think it’s (her motion) working with the House speaker to come up with a political ploy for people to roll over to take any budget than do the right budget.”
